After 30 years working in education, including 10 years as a Headteacher in the UK, Malawi and Uganda, Pete decided to open the Hub (Diss Music School) in Diss in 2013.
Pete is a firm believer that learning to play an instrument is a skill for life and can increase confidence and cognitive development. He teaches guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and banjo, specialising in finger-picking and slide guitar for blues players.
His long experience in schools has equipped him well for working with children of all ages, but he is equally at home teaching adults. He strives to make his lessons rewarding and enjoyable. He enjoys all styles of music and currently plays in the folk band The Ludlam Pikes and is a founder member of the Waveney Valley Folk Collective.
Pete also runs Ukaholics Anonymous, a social ukulele group, who meet in Diss on Wednesday evening. (New members, experienced players or beginners are always welcome.)Get in touch to book lessons with Peter Arnold
